BC44.97 – Social Media for the Midlist Author

Back in April I ran into author L. Jagi Lamplighter at Ravencon. She wanted to pick my brain about the best way to enter social media and the best places to spend her time. As a mom with a passel of kids she doesn’t have a lot of free time, but she wants to build her audience without wasting time. Always on the lookout for ground breaking panel ideas, I immediately added this one to the list of panels for Balticon 44 and stocked it with the best new media ho’s in my stable.

Please enjoy as you get schooled in the best new media practices by the best of the best in the field: Tee Morris, Philippa Balantine, Nathan Lowell, and Dave Slusher moderating. Also appearing in this panel are Allison Duncan and Paulette Jaxton.

This week is also the inaugural intro by the one and only Vivid Muse. There is not much that I can say about Viv, other than she it the picture in the dictionary next to the word “awesome”. I am elated to have her on board helping to write and record intros. She is the hostess with the mostess. If you don’t believe me check this out.
